This trip will allow you to explore the inner reaches of the ranges that stretch beyond the Hatta Mountains. You can also visit Ray, A’Shuwayhah and a few smaller hamlets hidden deep within the green wadis at the foot of the high mountains of Al Hajar.
There are four different access routes to this area: from Hatta in the north; via the Madam-Hatta Road, following the direction to Mahda; through Wadi Sumayni to the west; and from Mahda to the south. The route described follows the one most readers will use – from Hatta.
