Dibba to Ras Al Khaimah (Route 15) Located in the northernmost part of the UAE and in the southernmost part of Oman’s Musandam, this route incorporates some of the highest plateaux and peaks of the Arabian Peninsula. The area is called Ruus Al Jibal, and is accessible from Dibba and Ras Al Khaimah. Access, however, is easier from Dibba and, in the case of a morning departure, it’s better to travel this way as the sun will be behind you. Because of the higher altitudes, this is one of the better routes for the summer months. The route incorporates two spectacular wadis: Wadi Khab A’Shamis and Wadi Bih.
